Teaching values to our students is more important today than ever. As educators and parents, we are students’ greatest influence and it is our responsibility to teach them to be people with values so that they can grow up to be loving, confident, and respectful adults.

In Secondary, students follow the British National Curriculum whilst continuing with the compulsory subjects of Spanish and Catalan Language and Literature and Social Studies. Secondary school is divided into two sections, Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The subjects are taught by English native teachers specialised in each subject.
In Key Stage 3 – Year 7 and Year 8 (from 11 to 12/13 years old), students continue with the same subjects from the curriculum that are the basis on which to build their future academic studies. In Year 7, equivalent to Primary 6 or 6th Grade, We introduce French as a foreign language.
In Key Stage 4 – Year 9 to Year 11 (from 13 to 15/16 years old) students are prepared for the IGCSEs (International General Certificate of Secondary Education).
During this stage, they choose to study a selection of complementary (optional) subjects. A wide variety of options are offered including Business Studies, Art and Design, Music, Computer Science, French, Physical Education, History and Geography. The compulsory subjects, are English Language and English Literature, Maths, Coordinated Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and core PE (Physical Education) from the British curriculum and Spanish, Catalan and Social Studies from the local curriculum. In addition, the PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education) program is expanded.
In Secondary, we help our students to take responsibility for their studies, to be disciplined with their work and to make contributions to the community. We create an environment in which the student can develop as a student and as a person and in which they can reach their full potential.
