English Summer Camps in Madrid

Do you want your children to learn without going abroad? St. George British School organises an English immersion summer camp with native teachers, so that your children can enjoy an international experience without leaving Spain.

Taking place from the 28th June until the 30th July, the camp offers the possibility of signing up for only the weeks that you need and is suitable for children from 3 to 12 years old.

Games, sports, cooking, water activities in our own swimming pool, arts & crafts…. and many more adventures, surrounded by children of different nationalities.

Summer School, English summer camp in Madrid

The Summer Camp will be running from 09.00-16.00. We have an optional bus service, an extended hour in the morning (from 8:00 – 9:00) and in the afternoons ( from 16:00 until 17.00h). You can request these services by clicking here.

This year our Summer School will be adapted due to Covid 19 restrictions, but we will make it just as fun and secure as in previous years. We will organise children in groups, keep them socially distanced, promote and help with frequent hand washing, organise less busy lunch and swimming pool turns and separate playgrounds. Our nurse will be on site during the Summer Camp and we will follow all protocols in place, as successfully established within our school over the past year.

If we need don’t reach the minimum children necessary to run the Camp, we need to isolate a class or a child for being in close contact or for having Covid 19 or if the children must remain isolated, the deposit will be saved for 2022 or can be refunded totally or partially depending on the circunstances.

What's a day like at St. George Summer School?

Are the teachers native speakers?

Yes, our teachers are native English speakers.

Can a child who is not a student at St. George School come in?

Yes, students can come to our Summer School from any other school.

Do they have extended hours?

Yes, in the morning you can sign up for the Breakfast Club (from 8.00 to 9.00 h.) and in the afternoon you have a playroom service (from 4.00 to 5.00 h.).

What should you bring daily?

Sun cream, cap, water bottle, snack, bed sheet (if applicable), swimsuit, flip flops and towel.

What sports do they play?

They perform weekly different sports such as Football, Netball, Volleyball, Basketball, Hockey, Gymnastics, Yoga…

When can the facilities be visited?

Fridays at 17.00 h. on request.

Is there a lifeguard?

Yes, we have a qualified lifeguard on the camp schedule.

Do the little ones nap?

Infant students of 3-4 years old, and those of 5 years old who wish to, take a daily nap.

When do you go to the pool? Is it inside the facility?

Our swimming pool is inside our facilities and they go weekly

What facilities do you have?

We have an outdoor swimming pool, music classrooms, artificial turf football pitch, basketball field, indoor football, garden areas, roofed patio, differentiated children’s area, own dining room… In addition all our classrooms are equipped with air conditioning machines.

Do you have your own kitchen? Are there any special menus?

Yes, we have our own kitchen and the menus are prepared daily. We offer all kinds of specialized menus for allergy sufferers as well as for other types of food needs (low fat, vegetarian, not pork or veal…).
